Annual Boiler Service in Cardiff

The Brief

A homeowner in Cardiff booked in the annual boiler service on their Worcester Bosch combi ahead of winter. The boiler had not been serviced in twelve months and they wanted the manufacturer warranty kept valid, along with peace of mind that everything was still safe and running efficiently.

What We Did

The visit covered the full service checklist:

• Visual inspection: boiler body, flue and connections checked for leaks, corrosion or wear.
• Full clean: burner and heat exchanger stripped, cleaned and put back to manufacturer spec.
• Combustion analysis: the boiler was run under load and combustion measured to confirm the mix was clean.
• Safety devices tested: pressure relief, controls and interlocks all confirmed working.
• Gas tightness test: confirmed no leaks on the appliance or connections.
• Handover and certificate: the service record was emailed the same day for the customer's warranty file.
